I raised few questions about this EDIFACT EANCOM usage before.
Still, I don't have clarity in usage of EDIFACT EANCOM protocols.
The way I have seen the B2B working is that if you don't upload the EANCOM content , the EANCOM files get processed as EDIFACT format with out any problems.
But once you upload the EANCOM content and control key - the files are detected as EANCOM format.
In this case, what is the need for a separate EANCOM protocol.
What is the downside of just processing them as EDIFACT messages.
We are inclined to process them as EDIFACT fromat as the message versions, subversions shipped with EANCOM are very limited compared to EDIFACT.
