Secure FTP connection between PI and Windows 7 system

Dear Team,

We have a Windows 7 Enterprise Edition running on one of our desktops.(Lets say - System A). There is critcal application running on this machine.

We also have a SAPPI system(Let says System - B) in our landscape which is planning to send files to System A through a secure connection. (FTPs/SFTP)

1. Can this be achieved through installing WinSCP on System A. If yes, can you please guide me with the steps.

    Does System A needs to WinSCP Client or WinSCP server.

2. Is there any other better way to achieve this requirement.
